"You are Here," WERS 88.9FM

I work on investigative specials with a team of four other reporters. I pitch themes and angles, perform in-depth interviews, and edit using Adobe Audition to create a well-balanced and insightful hour-long broadcast. 

"No Man's Land"

Our most recent broadcast aired May 10. In "No Man's Land," we looked at issues we don't tend to talk about. It is a show of taboos. My piece covers the very nuanced issue of female-on-male rape, with a focus on the social stigma and legal obstacles  which survivors must face.

"Life in Transition"

Our most recent broadcast was "Life in Transition," a show which examined the emergence of transgender identities from the fringe to the mainstream. In particular, I looked at the sociopolitical complexities of Transsexuality in Iran.
